Macquarie Home Stay welcomes 4 new Directors to the board

Macquarie Home Stay is pleased to welcome 4 new members to its Board. The Board governs the organisation whose mission is to provide patients and their carers with accommodation while preparing for or post treatment in Dubbo – providing a home away from home.

The new cohort includes local Dubbo accountants Pete Debus and Vicki O’Connor, strengthening the Board’s skills in financial management and business advisory. Both Peter and Vicki each bring more than 30 years of experience and are looking forward to the opportunity to contribute this experience to the Board of Macquarie Home Stay.

Allister Rodgers brings a strong commitment to rural communities and business management having worked as an agent and now property valuer across central and north-west NSW. The Board will also benefit from specialist skills in communications and government relations with the appointment of Narromine local, Jessica Brown.

Macquarie Home Stay President, Andy Single, said that he was excited to welcome the new members of the Board to its monthly meeting last week.

“The new members join the Board at a pivotal stage for Macquarie Home Stay. We have just commenced the build of the CWA of NSW Guesthouse, which comprises 26 units to support patients and their carers when attending the Western Cancer Centre. This is just the start of our expansion plans as we aim to deliver better health outcomes for the people and communities of Western NSW.

“Our current and future expansion plans rely on the ongoing support of our local community. Our board comprises dynamic and recognised leaders from across our region who play an important role in setting the strategic direction of the organisation and continuing to build our community connections.”
